The Last of Us Part II est la suite des aventures de Joel et Ellie, dont le premier opus éponyme est sorti sur PlayStation 3 en 2013 et en version remasterisée sur PlayStation 4 quelques années plus tard. 

C’est dans la Wyoming, à Jackson, et auprès d’une communauté de survivants que l’on retrouve les deux protagonistes. Malheureusement tout ne se passe pas comme prévu et un événement violent va changer le cours de leur vie actuelle. Ellie étant désormais bien déterminée à se venger et à tuer un à un les responsables de cet acte terrible, dont nous ne connaissons pas les tenants et aboutissants. Joel l’accompagnera dans ce périple aux multiples dangers.
